QUALITY STATEMENT

Objectives
This shall be achieved by:-

• Ensuring all management and staff are committed to quality in all of their activities.

• Ensuring quality standards meet customer expectations at all times.

• Developing and maintaining through HACCP, awareness of food safety and quality in all our staff.

• Ensuring all our suppliers provide goods and materials which satisfy our quality and food safety requirements.

• Ensuring correct product quantities are delivered on time.

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant directives and legislation.

Assessment of achievement against the policy objectives shall be made through:-

• Training, communication and the use of monitoring systems.

• Effective monitoring of customer complaints and requirements.

• Monitoring of customer service levels and delivery performance.

• Effective monitoring and auditing of suppliers and goods supplied.

BASIC SERVICE LEVELS

• MR VEG FOODS is open Mondays to Saturdays and is open every day except Good Friday and Christmas day

• MR VEG FOODS is closed for orders (except email and fax orders) and deliveries on Sundays

• 11h30 are cut-off time for same-day deliveries. Please note this is strictly enforced.

• Office hours are 06h00 to 18h00.

• Country routes (unless otherwise indicated) are on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Country orders must always be placed 24 hrs in advance (the previous day).

• Returned goods are accepted within 2 days from invoice date only if they are UNOPENED and UNDAMAGED and invoice number is quoted. Cold Room goods (like cheeses) must be returned at point of delivery.

• Our Delivery guys can only wait a maximum of 5 minutes to be helped at clients before they have no choice but to move on to their next delivery.

• Mr Veg Foods accepts CASH as a method of payment but drivers must sign on the customer copy that the money is correct. Cheques and Internet payments are accepted. If you wish to make payment at a later or more convenient time, you will be required to complete a SURETY page for the credit amount required. This will then be your CREDIT LIMIT in future. • Mr Veg Foods charges a R100 fine on all RETURNED TO DRAWER cheques.

• Delivery errors can unfortunately only be corrected on the same day if you are located within a 20km radius of Mr Veg foods warehouse. Should you be more than 20 km’s from Mr Veg foods, we can only correct a delivery error for you on the next day.

• Orders can only be delivered if it exceeds a minimum amount of R250 per order.

• We will always try our best to meet our client’s delivery times.

• Unfortunately we have no control over traffic congestion’s or delays at clients prior to your delivery. Thus we cannot guarantee

• delivery times. We urge all clients to carry enough stock to prevent such potential problems.

• We do however undertake to give you a call the moment we realize that we will not be able to make your delivery time requirement. As a standard rule, we also call all clients who will receive their orders later than 17h00.
